fkiQuality has updated its Green Belt course completely.

The Green Belt course now restructures Lean Six Sigma learning totally by integrating Deming principles.

Deming principles for management and quality are the origin of Lean and Six Sigma. However, Deming is usually relegated to the historical overview of the methods, without influencing how Lean Six Sigma is taught.

In response to this deficiency, the new Green Belt course integrates key concepts developed by W. Edwards Deming such as systems thinking, an understanding of variation, a method for learning and basic human psychology. This is in addition to integrating Lean and Six Sigma methods into a DMAIC problem-solving flow; even though this was already superior to the way of teaching of other courses that simply add Lean topics at the end of a traditional Six Sigma course.

This way the course does not only covers the standard Green Belt body of knowledge, but adds fundamental concepts that make process improvement more effective and permanent.

New participant materials include 400 pages of theory, examples, exercises, case materials and templates.

fkiQuality advocates that every employee and worker must become a problem solver for the benefit of the company and his/her own daily work. For this reason we emphasize Green Belt level education, making the principles of operational excellence accessible to as many people as possible.
